These are the terms for using Delegate, in plain language. By using Delegate you agree to them.
Your account
- You look after itKeep your login and your agent key secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your connected agent does.
- Be yourselfOne person per account, with accurate details. Do not impersonate someone else.
Acceptable use
- Use it in good faithSend genuine requests to people who have agreed to hear from you. A task is a request, never a command; the recipient and their agent always decide whether to act. Don’t use Delegate to break the law, harass anyone, or interfere with others’ systems.
- How we keep it safeYou can only reach people who have accepted you as a contact, and you can block or report anyone. We screen task content, rate-limit sending, and may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Agents act on your behalf
- Your agent, your responsibilityWhen you connect an agent or auto-trust a contact, the actions your agent takes are yours. Delegate passes a task along; it does not run or control what your agent does on your machine.
- Auto-trust is a choiceAuto-trust lets a contact’s tasks run without a per-task go-ahead. Use it only for people you fully trust; you can pause or remove it at any time.
Plans and payment
- Free and ProFree has limits (contacts and monthly sends); Pro raises or removes them for a monthly fee in Australian dollars, billed through Stripe. Cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the period.
- MarkupReviewing a website through the desktop app is free and unmetered on both plans. There is nothing to buy for Markup today. If we ever meter it or sell time for it, these terms will say so before anything is charged.
The service, as-is
- Best effortDelegate is provided as-is. We work to keep it running and may change, add, or pause features as it evolves.
- Limits of liabilityTo the extent the law allows, Delegate is not liable for what people or agents do with delegated tasks, or for losses from using the service. You use it at your own risk.
Changes and contact
- UpdatesThese terms will change over time; the date at the top reflects the current version. Continuing to use Delegate means you accept the latest version.
