The work either side of a handoff is getting automated fast. The handoff itself, the part where one person gives a piece of work to another and waits, is not. Delegate is that middle: you send a task to somebody you trust, their own agent actions it in their own environment with their own tools, and the result comes back to you for a go-ahead.

It is bootstrapped, with no venture funding and no plans to raise. That means it does not need to grow at a pace the product cannot support, and it is not for sale. It also means the roadmap is short and the person writing it reads every message.
